This past Friday our attorneys Robert Dietz and Kyle Steller teamed with Dutchess County Medicaid and Dutchess County Office for the Aging to offer a CLE (Continuing Legal Education) for Dutchess County Bar Association members. Titled “The Nuts and Bolts of Preparing for Medicaid”, their presentation informed other local attorneys who practice Elder Law. Earlier today, at historic Obercreek Farm, MBW Partner Joshua Mackey learned about Scenic Hudson’s initiative to support sustainable farming in the Hudson Valley.
Kyle Steller, Esq. and Bob Dietz, Esq. participated in Sen. Sue Serino’s Senior Golden Gathering where seniors from across the region gathered to learn about services specific to their needs. On Friday, June 15, 2018, Mackey, Butts & Wise, LLP, participated in the 10th annual Hudson Valley World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Conference at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY, presented by EverCare and the Center on Aging and Disability Policy at Mount Saint Mary College. The conference catered to Hudson Valley Seniors, their families and caregivers, and local service providers for seniors. Members of the firm were there to discuss long-term care, special needs, and estate planning.

A beautiful evening at Indian Ridge in Highland, NY for a Farm to Table Gala in support of Sparrows Nest of the Hudson Valley. Sparrow’s Nest of the Hudson Valley provides two meals, once a week, to the families of caregivers and children diagnosed with any type of cancer.
