Neil’s practice includes land use, environmental, municipal, and real estate law.
He possesses more than 35 years of experience in land use planning, zoning, and permitting work for municipalities, institutions, and private developers. His experience includes representation of municipal legislative boards, planning boards, and zoning boards in the review of residential and commercial site development applications, as well as representing private developers regarding land use permitting, and zoning and environmental compliance.
Neil is proficient in State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), site plan, subdivision, land use, and zoning law requirements and procedures, and has extensive experience preparing environmental impact statements and assessments, municipal comprehensive plans, zoning laws, and subdivision regulations.
He is experienced in residential and commercial site selection including “due diligence”, land use, zoning, and environmental investigations, as well as residential and commercial real estate transaction matters.
He has appeared as a presenter for Continuing Legal Education courses, and for Continuing Education courses for real estate professionals.
